Metro Manila, Philippines — At least 150 people were killed in the aftermath of two successive tropical cyclones, disaster management officials reported on Thursday, Oct. 31.

Fourteen deaths have been validated from a list of 72 bodies in Calabarzon and 48 in Bicol, the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said.

It reported 115 injuries and 29 missing persons.

Typhoons Kristine and Leon affected around 1.8 families or 7.4 people, infrastructure damage was at least P6.3 billion, while the agriculture sector posted P3.76 billion losses, mostly in the rice sector.
