Metro Manila, Philippines - A Cebu Pacific flight bound for Manila made an emergency landing at the Mactan-Cebu International Airport (MCIA) on Saturday, March 8, due to landing gear issues.

In a statement, the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) said Cebu Pacific Air flight CEB588 left Mactan but returned to MCIA at 5:30 a.m.

“All passengers and crew onboard are safe,” CAAP said.
