Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino open to keep team up after back-to-back projects
Metro Manila, Philippines - Actors Kim Chiu and Paulo Avelino are keeping options open for more projects after back-to-back projects, with their latest team up set for big screen release.
In an interview with NewsWatch Plus anchor Christine Jacob Sandejas ahead of the premiere of the love team’s “My Love Will Make You Disappear,” Chiu said she would love to do another heavy drama with Avelino after headlining “Linlang,” their first project as a love team.
Avelino said it would be interesting to make an action-comedy with the actress.
The actor admitted he never imagined teaming up with Chiu.
“I would believe we’re past that era where you will be paired with a love team. But you know at the end of the day, as long as you keep putting smiles on people’s faces then I think it’s the best gift that we could give and offer,” he said.
Avelino and Chiu said doing their latest project was a tough task.
“The story is an adult rom-com that tackles a lot of adult issues…parang in denial iyong self, iyong real Kim Chiu and si Sari, naglalaban sila,” the actress said.

Avelino said it’s been quite some time since he starred in a romantic comedy film.
“My Love Will Make You Disappear” premieres in cinemas on Wednesday, March 26.
