Metro Manila, Philippines – Government employees may enjoy free rides at two train stations on Sept. 18 to 20 in celebration of the 124th Philippine Civil Service anniversary, operators said on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) management said the offer will be valid throughout the train’s operating hours.

Government workers may also take the Light Rail Transit (LRT-2) for free from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Commuters need to present their government issued ID to station personnel to avail of the offer.

“Layon ng libreng sakay ng MRT-3 na makapaghatid ng kahit kaunting kasiyahan sa kanila na tanda ng aming pagsaludo at pasasalamat sa kanilang mga sakripisyo,” Oscar Bongon, MRT-3 General Manager, was quoted as saying in a press release.
