Gary V’s Dec. 22 concert to push through after health concerns

Metro Manila, Philippines - Original Pilipino Music icon Gary Valenciano’s concert on Sunday, Dec. 22, will push through after he recovered from dehydration.

Valenciano cut short the first night of his “Mr. Pure Energy: One More Time” concert on Friday at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City after continuous vomiting leading to dehydration.

“I will be at the Araneta today. No weapon formed against me will prosper,” Valenciano said on his Facebook page.

Team Gary V thanked Mr. Pure Energy’s supporters for praying for his recovery.

“We apologize for any inconvenience during the standby for this announcement. The decision of Gary came with much prayer,” the Team Gary V said.

On Saturday, Valenciano’s wife, Angelli, said the singer’s vital signs were all good.
