Typhoon Julian enters PAR anew – PAGASA
Metro Manila, Philippines – Typhoon Julian (international name: Krathon) has entered the country’s weather disturbance monitoring space again, the weather bureau reported on Thursday, Oct. 3.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 11 a.m. bulletin that Wind Signal No. 1 is up in Batanes.
It also issued a gale warning for the northern coast of northern Luzon.
Julian was last spotted 245 kilometers northwest of Itbayat, Batanes.
It is heading towards Taiwan, where it will make landfall in the afternoon.
