March was packed—from work deadlines to random life stuff—but I didn’t want the month to slip by without taking a moment to highlight a few of my favorite finds. It’s been a whirlwind, but these little discoveries made everything feel a bit more magical along the way.
Whether it’s a dessert that’s almost too cute to eat, a podcast that feels like a cozy catch-up with friends, or a gadget that saved my sanity at work, here are my five must-haves and must-sees from March.
1. A Tasty Viral Treat: Hong Qi Peach Ice Cream
You’ve probably seen this viral Chinese ice cream on TikTok, and thankfully, it’s finally popped up in some local supermarkets and convenience stores. Shaped like an adorable peach and packed with peachy flavor, it totally lives up to the hype. It’s sweet but not too sweet, and honestly, almost too cute to eat. There are two other flavors (mango and lemon) but the peach reigns supreme.
2. The Perfect Weekender: Fjallraven Kånken Weekender
I’ve been a fan of the Swedish brand Fjällräven for years. I've used their signature backpack forever and also have a few of their mini sling bags. So, when they dropped their own version of a weekender bag, I was instantly obsessed. It has that classic duffel shape but uses the same durable material they’re known for. It’s super roomy, sturdy, and it converts into a backpack too! It’s officially my go-to travel bag now.
3. A Podcast to Hang With: Good Hang with Amy Poehler
I’ll admit it: I have a hard time paying attention to podcasts. So when I do get into one, it has to be fun, light, and feature people I already like. Enter Good Hang with Amy Poehler. I’ve been counting down to its launch, and it finally dropped in mid-March with guests like Tina Fey and Martin Short. No surprise—both episodes were hilarious and chaotic in the best way, but they also had these little moments that gave insight into what makes these comedians tick. Amy’s chill vibe makes it feel like you’re just hanging out with old friends.
4. Keeping Cool at Work: Muji’s Low Noise USB Desk Fan
This one’s for people like me who get warm pretty easily. I was recently moved to a new desk at work that gets uncomfortably hot in the afternoons, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows right beside it. I had a desk fan, but it was bulky, loud, and not ideal for a shared space. So, I started looking for something quieter, more compact, and easier to use. That’s when I found Muji’s USB desk fan. It’s small, lightweight, comes in a variety of colors, and surprisingly powerful without making much noise. I just plug it into my computer, and it keeps me cool without disturbing anyone around me. Total gamechanger.
5. A Powerful Miniseries: Adolescence on Netflix
Since premiering last March 13 to rave reviews (99% on Rotten Tomatoes!), this emotionally charged and hard-hitting British series about a 13-year-old boy accused of murdering his classmate has been the talk of the town. Each of its four hour-long episodes is filmed in one continuous shot—no cuts, no stitching, no tricks. It also dives into the hot-button topic of online toxic masculinity and features standout performances across the board, including an impressive debut from teen actor Owen Cooper. Heartbreaking but brilliant, this one definitely deserves a spot on your watch list.
And that’s it! Five must-try things, shows, snacks, and small joys that made March a little more fun for me. Hope you found something new to check out! I’ll be back with more recos soon—so stay tuned for the next round of PULSE Picks!
