Drag queen Jiggly Caliente lost most of her leg, no appearance in upcoming Drag Race PH season

Metro Manila, Philippines - Drag queen Jiggly Caliente has lost "most of her right leg" over a severe infection, her family announced on Thursday, April 24.

After the "serious health setback," the family said Jiggly will not be appearing in the upcoming season of Drag Race Philippines, in which she is one of the main judges. She will also decline public engagements in the “foreseeable future.”

“Her recovery will be extensive,” the drag performer’s family posted on Facebook.

“At this time, we kindly ask for privacy for Bianca and her family as they navigate this difficult journey together. While Jiggly concentrates on healing, we invite her friends, fans, and community to uplift her with messages of hope and love on her social media channels,” they added.

Jiggly, also known as Bianca Castro, competed in RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 4 and All Stars Season 6.

Alongside television personalities Paolo Ballesteros and Jervi Wrightson, known as Kaladkaren, Jiggly judged in Drag Race Philippines Season 1 to 3.

Meanwhile, the all-new series Drag Race Philippines: Slaysian Royale will premiere this year.
