Metro Manila, Philippines - All hail the Philippines’ newest queen!

Alexie Brooks was crowned Miss Eco International 2025 during the pageant’s coronation night in Egypt on Saturday.

Filipino fans were greeted with the good news on the morning of Easter Sunday as the beauty queen reigned over other candidates at the Hilton Green Plaza in Alexandria, Egypt.

Alexie earlier bagged first runner-up in the pageant's talent contest. She was also 10th in the resort wear competition and sixth in the Eco Wear round.

In the final question-and-answer portion, Brooks was asked: “Imagine the world in 2050. What’s one thing you hope has changed and why?”

"If you want me to be realistic, climate change is impacting our world right now. And the only thing that we can do is to act towards it,” she answered quickly.

“We have the same mother even if we came from different nations. And we, in here, are brothers and sisters right now. And our Mother is asking for our help. So we must save our planet Earth and we must take care of our Mother Earth. Thank you so much,” Brooks said.

The 24-year-old Ilongga also paid tribute to her late grandmother after taking home the pageant’s third crown for the Philippines.

Brooks took home the title after Cynthia Thomalla in 2018 and Kathleen Paton in 2022.
