Metro Manila, Philippines - Fuel will cost lower on Holy Week, with cuts of as much as P3 per liter.

In separate advisories, oil firms announced a slash in gasoline prices by P3.60 per liter beginning Tuesday, April 15. Kerosene, meanwhile, will be down by P3.30 per liter.

Motorists may also expect a big-time rollback in diesel prices, with a P2.90 decrease per liter.

This marks the second consecutive week of fuel price cuts, and the highest rollback for 2025.

The Department of Energy earlier said the escalating trade tensions between the U.S. and China prompted the price rollback.

Other factors were Saudi Arabia’s expected cut on its official selling price for Asia-bound crude next month, as well as the accelerated production by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries in May.
