Manny Pacquiao arrives in Korea as he joins Netflix’s survival reality competition “Physical: Asia.”

Metro Manila, Philippines - Filipino boxing legend Manny Pacquiao will engage in a new battle - Netflix’s survival reality competition, “Physical: Asia.”

In a press statement, the streaming giant said the upcoming show will transform “the battleground into a high-stakes team competition featuring top-tier athletes representing their respective countries.”

The competition was previously titled “Physical: 100,” where competitors fought “to outlast each other in a grueling individual tournament.”

“Pacquiao, revered worldwide as the only boxer in history to acquire titles in eight weight divisions, brings his formidable talent and indomitable spirit to this team-based clash of champions. His participation signals the show’s expanded ambition: a fierce face-off among Asia’s finest, with national pride on the line,” Netflix said.

“With the newly minted ‘Physical: Asia,’ the spectacle grows even bigger. Competitors regardless of age, gender, or weight class will unite under their national flags for the toughest, most pulse-pounding missions yet,” it added.

The show dominated Netflix’s Global Top 10 TV series for two years in a row.

Its new season will debut on the streaming platform in the fourth quarter of the year.
