Three weather systems dumping rains across PH - PAGASA
Metro Manila, Philippines - Three weather systems will be triggering rains across the country until Monday, Feb. 17, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.
In its 4 p.m. bulletin on Sunday, the weather bureau said the shear line or the convergence of warm and cold winds, may dump scattered rains over mainland Cagayan, Isabela, Apayao, and Aurora.
Forecasters warned of flooding and landslides due to moderate to heavy rains.
Meanwhile, the northeast monsoon will also cause overcast skies and rains over Batanes and Babuyan islands.
Down south, the Intertropical Convergence Zone may bring scattered rains and thunderstorms over Southern Mindanao and Palawan.
PAGASA said fair weather may persist in Metro Manila and the rest of the country on Monday.
