Maris Racal drops ‘Perkpektong Tao’ music video

Metro Manila, Philippines - Actress and singer Maris Racal has released the official music video of her new song “Perpektong Tao” following the controversy she recently faced.

In a post on social media app Instagram on Saturday night, Racal said that she directed the music video - her first time to do so.

The “Can’t Buy Me Love” star expressed appreciation to those who helped her.

“Couldn’t have done it without my amazing team and the mariestellers who came to support,” Racal said.

The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate returned to Facebook on Jan. 16 to announce her new song.

“Writing this song healed me in ways I never thought possible. It was born from a journey through pain, regret, and the courage to seek forgiveness, a reminder that even in our darkest moments, we can find light. I’m sharing this with the world, hoping it resonates with those who need it most,” she said.

In December, Racal and her loveteam partner Anthony Jennings drew flak online after the latter’s non-showbiz ex-girlfriend revealed conversations of the actors’ intimate messages.

The “Incognito” stars have since issued separate apologies.
