Metro Manila, Philippines - Most parts of the country will have fair weather on Monday, Jan. 20, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

In its weather forecast on Sunday, Jan. 19, PAGASA said areas that will have rains are Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon due to the northeast monsoon, locally called amihan.

The easterlies, or the warm winds from the Pacific Ocean, will bring scattered rains over Surigao del Sur, Surigao del Norte, and Dinagat Islands.

The rest of the country will have fair weather with chances of isolated rains.

No gale warning has been raised, PAGASA said.

The weather bureau has not monitored any weather disturbance inside and near the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
