Metro Manila, Philippines — The price of petroleum products will drop this week, oil companies said on Monday, Sept. 16.

Gasoline prices will be cut by ₱1 per liter while diesel by ₱1.30 per liter.

Cost of kerosene will also be slashed by ₱1.65 per liter.

The rollback will be effective on Tuesday, Sept. 17.

The Energy department said sluggish global demand and oversupply expectations are pushing prices down.
