Metro Manila, Philippines - Two weather systems are triggering rains in some parts of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The weather bureau said the shear line is dumping scattered rains and isolated thunderstorms over the Bicol region and Quezon.

Forecasters warned of possible flooding and landslides during moderate to heavy rains.

Up north, cloudy skies and rains may persist over Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain province, Ifugao, and Aurora due to the northeast monsoon, locally known as amihan.

PAGASA said it is also monitoring cloud clusters outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility, east of Mindanao.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may expect fair weather with chances of isolated rains.
