La Salle's Kevin Quiambao bags back-to-back UAAP MVP awards
Metro Manila, Philippines — For the second consecutive season, Kevin Quiambao is the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in the UAAP men's basketball tournament.
The 23-year-old forward received the highest individual recognition before Game 2 of the Season 87 finals on Wednesday at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
Quiambao garnered 81.357 statistical points to secure the plum.
He had an average of 16.64 points, 8.64 rebounds, and 4.07 assists in more than 30 minutes of action for the Green Archers, which were the top seed after the elimination round with a 12-2 win-loss record.
