PH condemns North Korea missile launches
Metro Manila, Philippines– The Philippines has condemned North Korea’s recent ballistic missile launches, calling on Pyongyang to cease its provocative actions.
The government said North Korea’s launch on Oct. 31 was destabilizing to the peace, economic progress, and stability of the Korean peninsula and the broader Indo-Pacific region.
The Department of Foreign Affairs said the Philippines is urging North Korea to respect its international obligations, including United Nations Security Council resolutions, and to pursue peaceful dialogue.
The Philippines echoed the global call for North Korea’s complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization.
It joined the international community in pressing for an end to missile tests, seeking to reinforce stability and ensure lasting peace in the region.
