Belle Mariano grateful for chance to sing Filipino version of 'Moana 2' theme song

Metro Manila, Philippines- Kapamilya star Belle Mariano is grateful for the opportunity to sing "Anong Daratnan", the Filipino version of Disney's 'Moana 2' theme song 'Beyond'.

"So happy and grateful to sing 'Anong Daratnan' for Disney," Mariano wrote on her Instagram post.

In a previous statement, Disney Studios Philippine said that Mariano made history by performing the first-ever Filipino song to be played in a Walt Disney Animation Studios Film.

“Sobrang grateful ko kasi dream ko maka-work ang Disney. Moana is one of my favorite Disney characters, and I’m really emulating her fearlessness in my rendition of this song,” the actress said in a previous statement.

The song was written by Grammy award-winning songwriters Abigail Barlow and Emily Bear.

"Beyond” tells the story of Moana’s “fearless sense of adventure and connecting her island beyond its shores.”
