Metro Manila, Philippines – A portion of the gross earnings of the blockbuster romantic drama, “Hello, Love, Again,” will be donated to typhoon victims, ABS-CBN announced on Tuesday, Nov. 19.

Headlined by Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards, the film has shattered box office records after earning P566 million in just five days.

The sequel to the 2019 blockbuster drama, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” set a new record for the highest single-day gross, raking in P131 million on Saturday, Nov. 16.

The film is also making waves abroad after entering the Top 10 U.S. box office - a first for a Filipino movie.

In a press release, the box-office stars thanked fans and moviegoers for the overwhelming support.

“We’re so blessed because binigyan ng mga tao ng chance iyong pelikula namin at lahat ng nare-receive namin. Wala na kaming mahihiling pa,” Bernardo was quoted as saying in a press release.

“No words can express how grateful we are for the turnout and we’re very happy na maraming naka-appreciate nito,” Richards said.

[Translation: We’re so blessed because the public gave this film a chance. We have nothing more to ask for…No words can express how grateful we are on how the film turned out, and we’re very happy that a lot of people appreciate the movie]

The two stars are now in Los Angeles, California, USA to participate at the Asian World Film Festival on Nov. 20, where “Hello, Love, Again” will be the closing movie.

The Cathy Garcia-Sampana film will also premiere in Singapore, Malaysia, the Middle East, Cambodia, Hong Kong, and Macau this month.
