Metro Manila, Philippines – The much-anticipated sequel to the 2019 blockbuster hit, “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” has set a new record for grossing P85 million on opening day - the highest for a local film in history, ABS-CBN Films announced on Thursday, Nov. 14.

‘Hello, Love, Again’ is showing in a thousand cinemas worldwide, including over 650 local theaters.

The film outfit thanked fans and moviegoers for the overwhelming support on their debut.

“You are the reason behind the record success of ‘Hello, Love, Again’ on its first day,” ABS-CBN Films said on its social media posts.

The film premiered in 500 cinemas on Nov. 13.

As early as 12:01 a.m., fans and moviegoers lined up malls that held midnight screenings for “Hello, Love, Again” shortly after its premiere night at the SM Megamall in Pasig City on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

A number of celebrities graced the red carpet premiere, including Coco Martin, Julia Montes, Barbie Forteza, Robi Domingo.

“Hello, Love, Goodbye” held the highest-grossing Filipino film for three years from 2019 to 2022, after raking P880.6 million worldwide.

The film is set for international screening including in the United States, Australia, and New Zealand.
