Converge acquires Jordan Heading from Terrafirma
Metro Manila, Philippines — Jordan Heading is set to finally play in the PBA after Terrafirma Dyip traded him to the Converge FiberXers.
The deal was approved by the PBA Commissioner's Office on Tuesday.
In exchange, the Dyip got Aljun Melecio, Keith Zaldivar, and the FiberXers' first round pick in the 51st season.
Heading was selected by Terrafirma in the special Gilas Pilipinas round of the PBA Season 46 Draft. He has since opted to play overseas.
He suited up for the Taichung Suns in Taiwan, Nagasaki Velca in Japan, and the West Adelaide Bearcats in Australia.
The 28-year-old shooter also played for the Strong Group Athletics, which captured the title in the 43rd William Jones Cup.
Heading will be reunited with Charles Tiu, who is an assistant coach for Converge.
