Big-time increase in diesel, kerosene prices

Metro Manila, Philippines — Motorists should expect a big-time hike in per-liter prices of diesel and kerosene beginning Tuesday, Oct. 8.

In separate advisories on Monday, Caltex, Cleanfuel, and Seaoil said they will implement an increase of P1.20 per liter of diesel.

Caltex and Seaoil said kerosene prices will go up P0.70 per liter.

There will be no movement in gasoline prices.

The Department of Energy earlier said Hurricane Helene in the United States and a potential attack on Iran’s oil infrastructure would have an impact on price adjustments.
