Actor John Wayne Sace under arrest for fatal shooting

Metro Manila, Philippines — Authorities have arrested actor John Wayne Sace after a fatal shooting in Pasig City on Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Sace is facing a murder complaint and violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Based on a Pasig police report, Sace and his victim Lynell Eugenio had a heated argument, prompting the suspect to shoot the latter several times “causing his instantaneous death” on the night of Monday, Oct. 28.

Sace fled the crime scene with the weapon used.

Police said five spent cartridge cases of caliber .45 were recovered from the scene. The evidence will be subjected to a ballistic test.
