Metro Manila, Philippines — ACT-CIS Rep. Erwin Tulfo continues to lead in the latest Tangere pre-election survey, conducted shortly after the filing of certificates of candidacy (COC) for the midterm elections.

Erwin secured the top spot with 62.33% voter preference, followed by his brother, Ben, with 49%.

Former Senate President Tito Sotto was third with 46.50%, while Senator Pia Cayetano was fourth with 46.08%.

Reelectionist Senator Bong Go placed fifth with 45.50%, driven by support from respondents in Mindanao.

Former Senator Manny Pacquiao landed in sixth place with 42.21%, backed primarily by voters from the Visayas and Mindanao.

Makati Mayor Abby Binay, a newcomer to the senatorial race, ranked eighth with 36.17%, followed by former Interior Secretary Benhur Abalos with 33.2%.

SAGIP Party-list Rep. Rodante Marcoleta entered the 'winning circle' with 31.88%, with most of his support coming from Mindanao, particularly the Davao Region.

Tied for 11th and 12th places were Senators Lito Lapid, Francis Tolentino, and Bong Revilla, along with former Senator Bam Aquino.

The survey, conducted through a mobile-based app, had a sample size of 2,400 respondents. According to Tangere, the proportion of respondents was distributed across the country: 12% from NCR, 23% from Northern Luzon, 22% from Southern Luzon, 20% from the Visayas, and 23% from Mindanao.
