Thailand's Anntonia Porsild to visit Manila on Jan. 29

Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 28) — Miss Universe 2023 1st runner-up Anntonia Porsild is set to visit Manila on Monday, Jan. 29.

Porsild is expected to arrive in the country at 6:25 p.m., the Miss Universe Thailand announced on its Instagram page.

"MABUHAY Philippines!" it said on Saturday. "Anntonia Porsild, Miss Universe Thailand 2023 and 1st runner-up in Miss Universe 2023 will fulfill her duties in the Philippines."

Fans and beauty pageant enthusiasts are expecting a #PorDee reunion.

Michelle Dee, Philippines’ representative for the 72nd Miss Universe, became friends with the Thai beauty queen during the international pageant.

"We were each other's support system. She has an amazing personality. I really cannot wait to see her again," Dee previously told CNN Philippines.

The Philippines and Thailand are pageant powerhouse countries with strong and vocal fan bases.

Dee finished in the Top 10 during the pageant's coronation night in El Salvador in November 2023. She also received four special awards, including Best National Costume.
