VP Sara attends Bagong Pilipinas rally in Manila
Metro Manila (CNN Philippines, January 28) -- Vice President Sara Duterte was present at the Quirino Grandstand for the Bagong Pilipinas kick-off rally on Sunday.
Duterte arrived at the government-organized event in the afternoon.
In a statement, Duterte said the Department of Education, which she leads, is in favor of the Marcos administration's eight-point socioeconomic agenda.
She said she also supports the Davao City prayer protest that is opposing the proposed Charter change.

The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said thousands of Filipinos gathered at the event as early as Sunday morning.
President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. is expected to lead the kick-off rally in the evening, highlighting “Bagong Pilipinas” as a call for a deep and fundamental transformation in all sectors of society and government to foster a unified commitment towards nation-building.
