Metro Manila, Philippines - ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ (PBB), the local franchise of the popular reality television series, will air on the ‘Kapuso’ network for the first time, ABS-CBN and GMA announced on Monday.

In a statement, ABS-CBN said the collaboration marks an exciting milestone for the beloved reality show, which celebrates its 20th year on Philippine television.

The new PBB season will be a celebrity edition, featuring a mix of Kapuso and Kapamilya talents from the networks’ talent arms ‘Sparkle’ and‘ ‘Star Magic’.

The show’s release date has yet to be announced.

“Together, Kapuso and Kapamilya stars will collaborate and create unforgettable moments inside the PBB house,” ABS-CBN said in a statement.

Kapuso host Iya Villania also made a visit to the PBB house as part of the announcement.

This marks another collaboration of the two rival networks—with the airing of noontime show “It’s Showtime” as their most recent partnership.

ABS-CBN has been airing its shows online and on various networks since it lost its broadcast license in 2020.

PBB has produced some of the country’s bankable stars such as Kim Chiu, Gerald Anderson, Joshua Garcia, and James Reid, among others.
