‘Beautiful goodbye’: Barbie Forteza, Jak Roberto break up

Metro Manila, Philippines - Kapuso couple Barbie Forteza and Jak Roberto have broken up after seven years, the first celebrity fallout for the year.

Forteza announced the split in a heartfelt Instagram post on Thursday, Jan. 2.

“Having you in my life was the happiest I had ever been. Seven wonderful years. A lot of laughs, a lot of ramen and so much love. Your love was exceptional,” she wrote.

“But sometimes, good things fall apart so better things can come together,” the “Pulang Araw” actress added.

Forteza expressed gratitude to Roberto and hoped that he would find the love he deserves.

The “Maria Clara at Ibarra” star said she is “excited for what’s to come” in their separate paths.

Roberto has not released a statement as of posting.
