Robinsons Hotels and Resorts to invest over ₱10 billion in hotel development

Metro Manila, Philippines — The hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) is poised to significantly expand its upscale and ultra-luxury portfolio with a substantial ₱10-billion investment over the next few years.

The investment of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) include the launch of ultra-luxury hotel 'NuStar' in Cebu, the lifestyle brand “Grand Summit” in key locations such as Cebu and Pangasinan, and the highly anticipated “Fili,” the first and only Filipino-owned five-star hotel brand, in Bridgetowne, Pasig City.

RLC said these developments will elevate RHR’s standing among globally recognized brands catering to a wide range of market segments, and position the group as a key player in the country's thriving tourism and real estate sectors.

It said with 30 properties in 20 cities and municipalities nationwide, RHR remains the largest and most diversified hotel group in the country.

“Our growth is closely aligned with the Gokongwei Group's commitment to offering the best hospitality options across all travel segments,” said Barun Jolly, senior vice president and business unit general manager of RHR.

Fili Hotel

As the first Filipino five-star hotel brand, Fili Hotel stands as a symbol of Philippine excellence in hospitality. Nestled within Cebu’s premier NUSTAR Resort complex, Fili has been recognized for its architectural design, receiving the prestigious Best Hospitality Architectural Design award at the 18th Property Guru Asia Property Awards.

“Fili is a heartfelt project that celebrates Filipino hospitality while setting a new standard in international luxury,” said Jolly. The upcoming Fili Hotel in Bridgetowne will soon rise alongside the Opus Mall and the iconic Victor statue.

NUSTAR

NUSTAR, an ultra-luxury hotel brand, will complete the NUSTAR Resort complex in Cebu, catering to discerning local and international guests who seek personalized, world-class experiences.

Grand Summit Hotels and Resorts
