Metro Manila, Philippines — Fuel prices will slightly rise this week, industry participants said on Monday, Oct. 28.

Gasoline will cost ₱0.20 more per liter, and higher for diesel and kerosene at ₱0.50 per liter.

The price adjustment will be effective beginning Tuesday, Oct. 29.

Last week, the Energy Department said fuel prices may increase given the higher demand for diesel in South Korea and potential supply disruptions due to Iran’s retaliation amid tensions in the Middle East.
